Is Dead Sea Salt Good For the Skin?

by Kate

Dead Sea Salt is one of the ideas added to the already complicated world of skin care. So, do they work? Yes they do.

Several studies have already been made on the benefits that dead sea salt can give to the skin. Several studies have concluded, that it’s so good for the skin, it can even be used for treatment for psoriasis. It is highly effective for improving dry skin. The probable reason for this is the magnesium, bromide, and other counter ions that are contained in Dead Sea Salt.

There are several dead sea salt products that are available on the market. I have yet to look into their effectivity, however, I will be posting it once I have the answer. Here are the most popular dead sea salt products I found:

* Masada Bath Salts, Dead Sea Mineral
* AHAVA Dead Sea Bath Salts Bath Minerals And Salts
* Masada Bath Salts, Refreshing Rain Forest, Dead Sea Mineral
* Seacret Dead Sea Salt & Oil Scrub Lemongrass Scent
* Village Naturals Bath Shoppe English Lavender Body Soak
* AHAVA Pure Spa Dead Sea Mineral Mud
* Dead Sea Salt
* Masada Mineral Herb Spa Whole Salts, Stress Relief, Valerian & Kava Kava with Orange Peel

Dead Sea salts effectively treat many skin conditions, including from rashes and psoriasis to more everyday conditions such as oily or dry skin. Dead Sea salts are also known to soothe rashes, calm allergic reactions, minimize dandruff and treat acne. :)
